Fall
Peak leaf color across the highlands, crisp nights for the hot tub, and Bald Knob ablaze with orange and red.
Winter
Snow on the meadow and skiing & snowshoeing at Timberline (newly renovated), Canaan Valley, and White Grass — then home to the fireplace and hot tub. A 4WD/AWD vehicle is recommended.
Spring
Green returns to the valley — wildflowers, trout stocked in the Dry Fork River, and the first warm hikes into Dolly Sods.
Summer
Long green days — fishing, mountain biking, swimming holes, lawn games, and cool mountain evenings on the porch.
